Sport Education Swim School are passionate about Teaching children to Swim Confidently and correctly giving them a skill for life.

About us

Sport Education Swim School is firstly very much family orientated and child centred - not a production line of swimming lessons which you may come across elsewhere. We often develop  swimmers that have entered successfully into the swimming club environment and are competing well in the Arena leagues and Gloucester blocks. Furthermore one of our own Laurel Allen is currently a member of the Junior Great Britain Artistic Swimming Team. These performance swimmers still like to return to the swim school for 1 - 1 lessons, to work on individual technique, which perhaps may not be possible in club training sessions due to squad numbers etc.  Please do not be afraid to call, as we say we cater for all!!

THE NEW NATIONAL PLAN FOR TEACHING SWIMMING.

Swim England as a part of ongoing improvement has revised the National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS). Resulting in a product that keeps pace with the needs of the sport. The revised NPTS takes the non-swimmer on a journey, from the first splash to developing confidence and competence in the water.

All our teachers are A.S.A qualified and have enhanced DBS disclosures. They regularly attend seminars and conferences to keep their teaching skills up to date.

All classes are of a 30 minute duration - stages Duckling 1 - stage 7. Courses normally run for 12 weeks during school term time.
